Hillsborough County – How to Clear Cache and Cookies in Your Web Browser

Why clear the cache and cookies in your web browser?
The first step in resolving any issues you are having on HillsGovHub is to clear the cache and cookies. Browsers try to speed up the process of loading web pages. The first time you visit the site, your browser saves part of the site because the browser can display files stored in the cache much faster. Sometimes the “Cache” can cause a problem when updating HillsGovHub, as the files saved in the cache may conflict with what is encoded on the website.
Browser shortcuts
If you are using Google Chrome, Edge, Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox, tap Ctrl + Gap + Wipe off simultaneously on the keyboard while you are in your browser to open the clear cache window. Please note: Make sure that you are on the browser page and that you select the keys simultaneously.
