One-day career counseling workshop at SU motivates CSS aspirants to work hard
A one-day career orientation workshop on âCivil Services ReformS and CSS Examinationâ in collaboration with the Social Research and Development Center (CRSD) and the Sports and Youth Department (SYAD) of the Government of Sindh was held. took place at Pakistan Study Center, University of Sindh Jamshoro here on Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioner Hazim Bhangwar, in his motivational speech, said that candidates’ failure in various competitions was only due to a lack of education.
âPassing CSS exams is not a difficult task. The only thing you have to do is prepare in the right direction, âhe said and added that the competition was not as difficult as it was supposed to be.
âCSS papers need to be solved with proper understanding and technique. Applicants should have a thorough understanding of the issues, âhe said.
AC Bhangwar briefed the youth on his journey to become an officer and his current role in government. He also gave some imperative advice to CSS aspirants and briefed them on the modus operandi on how to resolve exam questions.
Another CSP, Ashique Hussain Khoso, gave her talk on how to prepare for CSS and resolve issues.
He said that it was necessary for the candidate to have a full understanding of the causes and effects of various incidents and issues in order to pass the CSS exams.
He said that during the preparation of the CSS, most of the young people were seen studying with unnecessary details and irrelevant aspects, because of which they do not pass the competitions.
âToday, when preparing for competitions, applicants must also rely on electronic media and plan their studies with fewer than three principles: read, repeat and remember.
On this occasion, the director of the Pakistan Study Center, Prof. Dr. Shuja Ahmed Mahesar, welcomed the guests and called their speeches instructive for the young people.
The event brought together over 100 CSS candidates from Sindh University (SU), Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) and Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences ( LUMHS) Jamshoro.
Students at the junction said the one-day career counseling workshop gave them great motivation to work hard. âWe are now determined to redouble our efforts to achieve our goals.
