Dimapur, October 11 (MExN): The Rising People’s Party (RRP) said today it will oversee the implementation of 32 center-sponsored programs (CSS) under the leadership of the Nagaland Department of Tribal Affairs.
“The Nagaland Department of Tribal Affairs says that for many projects work orders have not yet been issued, which means that work has not yet started,” the party said in a press release. .
“Either way, the veracity of the claim needs to be verified and the RPP will closely monitor the implementation of the programs,” he added.
According to the RRP statement, of the 32 programs in total, 22 are in Dimapur, Kohima and Mokokchung.
âWhile Kiphire, Noklak and Peren didn’t record any patterns, Zunheboto, Phek and Wokha only had one each. Such unbalanced policy making is not only bad governance, but it is tasteless, âhe said.
As part of its monitoring activities, the RPP will soon release the 2018-19 program as well, he said, further urging the âgeneral public / whistleblowersâ ââto contact the parties with any questions.
The party calls on all concerned citizens / whistleblowers to be vigilant and to report anomalies in the implementation of the devices in the days to come, he added.
The Morung Express could not independently verify the claim.
