Stardew Valley open-world Harvest Days now have a demo on Steam
Stardew Valley is an open world sandbox game with a big world to explore, but it doesn’t quite scratch the same itch as a big open world game promising unlimited secrets on the horizon. Harvest Days aims to bring these styles of play together, and its ambition has been impressive every time we’ve seen it – and now you can play it yourself.
Harvest Days now has a free demo available on Steam, available from today until the end of the Kickstarter campaign on September 30. The game is being built by a father-son development team at Family Devs, and is expected to arrive in early access in Q2 2022, before a final release later this year.
If you haven’t seen it before, Harvest Days has everything you’d expect from an agricultural RPG – crops to raise, relationships with townspeople to develop, and animals to raise – but it also features a world in three. larger dimensions with ruins to explore, swamps to brave, and secrets to uncover, plus a variety of vehicles you can use to get around.
