New Delhi: The Center is likely to table the Chartered Accountants, Cost and Works Accountants and Company Secretaries (Amendment) Bill 2022, for consideration and passage by the Rajya Sabha on Monday.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will push forward the bill to amend the Chartered Accountants Act 1949, the Cost and Works Accountants Act 1959 and the Secretaries Act 1980. undertaking, as adopted by the Lok Sabha, and to be considered and passed.
Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda is to propose a Bill to amend the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order 1950 for the inclusion of certain communities in the list of Scheduled Tribes in relation to Tripura State, as adopted by the Lok Sabha and to be considered and adopted by the Upper House of Parliament.
The discussion on the functioning of the Ministry of Labor and Employment is also expected to conclude in the Rajya Sabha with a response from the minister. “Reply to the discussion on the functioning of the Ministry of Labor and Employment raised by Mr Shanmugam on March 30,” said the Rajya Sabha List of Business.
