Xbox ‘Extended’ E3 Game Showcase Brings More Hellblade 2 Information
Microsoft isn’t content with just one centralized E3 showcase in E3 proper, as the company just confirmed more details about the Xbox Games Showcase Extended, which premieres on Thursday. As part of the show, we’ll get a bit more information about one of the most notable absences from the first Xbox presentation: Hellblade II.
The Xbox Games Showcase Extended premieres on Thursday, June 17 at 10 a.m. PDT / 1 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. BST. To keep your expectations under control, Microsoft is touting this as a way to see âthe details behind the scenes and the close, personal conversations with the developers,â so you probably shouldn’t expect a lot of big, glowing gameplay demos. (Although we get a game trailer for the next big Sea of ââThieves update, at least.)
What you can certainly expect is a âbehind-the-scenes update on the development of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II,â as developer Ninja Theory did. confirmed. It will be the first notable recording of the game since it was first unveiled alongside the Xbox Series X at the Game Awards in 2019.
The event will also feature studios such as 343 Industries, Double Fine, Obsidian, Playground Games, Rare and World’s Edge, as well as third parties. Once airtime is full, you can watch the show below.
